Orders and Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Payment is required at the time of order. We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are made to your specifications and cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect — see Returns & Refunds for full details. Lead times are typically 7-10 days.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

Every rack is made to order. You choose the width, the number of hooks and the Farrow & Ball colour of the central strip, and nothing is cut or painted until the order is placed. Because each piece is made to your specification, we do not offer refunds or exchanges, including for change of mind.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your rack arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, email info@thewoodenpalette.co.uk with your order number and a photograph and we will put it right. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Before you order

Since made-to-order pieces cannot be returned, please measure your wall carefully first. Our sizing guide walks through it, and if you are unsure, email before ordering and we will tell you which size fits.

We ship all orders from our workshop in Anglesey, UK. All items are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

Standard Orders

Standard coat racks are usually dispatched within 5-7 working days of order confirmation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Custom/Bespoke Orders

Custom orders are made to your specifications and typically take 7-10 working days to complete before dispatch. We'll keep you updated throughout the process.

Delivery Times

Once dispatched, standard UK delivery typically takes 2-3 working days. International delivery times vary by destination.

Shipping Costs

UK delivery is free on all orders. International shipping is quoted separately — please contact us before ordering from outside the UK.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information (where available).
